Drift's Estimate Tool

Drift, a green energy company, wanted customers to have a sense of what they could expect when signing up for the service. One way to ease customers' minds was to provide an estimate tool. By focusing on collecting the minimum amount of data from users, I was able to make the estimate tool clear and concise. It was something a user could engage with and complete in under 10 seconds.

Building prototypes is a very important step, especially for this project. When creating functionality for a live product, it's critical to validate designs. By building out a usable prototype, I was able to test several iterations before settling on a final design.

In its final iteration the Estimate Tool was moved from being a modal and given a dedicated page. This was in effort to keep the user focused on a single task and entice them to complete the loop.
